Term XXIV Order Application

This is the application for those who wish to join the Order of the Phoenix at hogwartsishome.

We will take previous Phoenixes' experiences into account, but do encourage anyone interested to apply. We are looking for 5 members from each house.

By completing this application I both acknowledge and affirm that:

• I have been sorted into a house at Platform 9 3/4.
  
• I am a member of both the main community (HiH) and my house common room.
  
• I have been a member of HiH for at least 1 month.
  
• Membership within The Order is a privilege and not a right.
  
• I am not to share the nature or content of my assignments outside of The Order.
  
• I am expected to complete all assignments in a timely and efficient fashion.
  
• If I fail to join in any discussions or volunteer for any assignments in a month, I may be asked to leave.
  
• I understand that The Order is a serious commitment, and I have an actual, real desire to be a part of an organization such as this.

Welcome to Term XXIV

Hello, everyone!

We're Isa and Evy and we'll be ruling you your Order Mods for Term XXIV. Before we get on with ~official Order business, we figured we'd introduce ourselves first. (Also, we're really excited to be your mods this term and phoenix apps for old phoenixes and those who want to become one should go up any minute now.) We also want to thank Iris and Lexi for guiding the phoenixes last term. Thank you, ladies!


Evy / slumber
Evy is from the Americas, approximately 35 years old (in my head at least... once again I can't remember her actual age) and a successful adult. I know, it's insane! She works at a firm doing things that allow her to fuck around on the internet all the time, unless she has to clean up the office, and recently bought herself a flat. Before she grew up two weeks ago, she had hippy hair that was flowing around her hips and behaving like leaves in the wind when wind happened, but now she's finally come into her creature inheritance and shows off her half-veela hair in a shoulder-length cut.

Evy also likes Tumblr (yay!) and Teen Wolf (yay?) and once upon a dream fell in love with Cabin Pressure, at least according to my email inbox. As a high-functioning multitasker Evy not only manages her mysterious office work and internet shenanigans but also keeps track of all the things with spreadsheets and documents and a hearty amount of enthusiasm. (You wouldn't believe the existence of the Order spreadsheet if we showed it to you, to be honest. It's slightly mental. (Actually, there's a public friendly totally nondescript version here. I'm sorry for any tears we may have caused.))

When she's not busy keeping track of things or tumbling, Evy can be found at her computer machine writing fanatic novelisations of her dreams and ideas regarding the things that she thinks should happen in her favourite shows.

Isa / scatteredintime
Isa is a spry little pixie from some town in Germany. She has unquestionably fantastic taste in shows (Cabin Pressure, for instance) but can be severely stubborn in others (Teen Wolffffff), a minor hiccup in her personality that can assuredly be fixed within the term. She is younger than she looks (it's her bamfy haircut, I think) and older than she seems (having been an HiHer for quite a long time) which can screw with your head, unless you're a time traveler in which case it's probably just right up your alley. (She prefers Rose out of all the companions although does have a healthy appreciation for River Song as well. You never know when knowing these things might come in handy.)

She takes charge very easily and has had many experiences modding in the past, including the insanity that was platform-modding and prefecting back in term 20. This term she'll also be mayoring in the nearby town of Hogsmeade along with her Order duties, which I guess makes her Aberforth. <.< >.>

When she isn't modding or Tumbling (that's a verb, right? Well if it wasn't before, it certainly is now), she can often be caught picking out all the Teen Wolf-related terms I have sneakily inserted in all our shared GDocs, or resisting Derek Hale's beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes by repeating "7th Heaven" seven times. We have yet to find a countercurse to overpower that mantra, but I'm working on it.
